Many people ask us what we need for the triplets. Well, we have every piece of baby equipment we could possibly want right now. We probably have enough clothes to dress them until they are a year old. We kept all of Evan's baby toys, so once they are old enough to play with toys they are set. We also have yet to buy a package of diapers. Thanks to some kind friends throwing us diaper shower, we have enough diapers and wipes to last at least three or four more months.
Let me show you the one thing we do need:
The babies are exclusively eating Similac Neosure and will have to remain on it for at least two more months, possibly until they are nine months old. So let's see - the babies each eat four bottles a day of 6-7 ounces each - that's twelve bottles a day. It takes one can of Neosure powder per day to feed them, seven cans a week, 28-31 cans a month. Each can costs about $15 a pop. You can see how it all adds up.
So, we will not be shy in accepting donations!
Thank you to all of you who have sent us cans and coupons - it is very much appreciated.
