A few scenes from the holiday ...

It's Tony Romo ... oh no, wait, it's Evan in his new Cowboys uniform!

Willa looking pretty with Grandma

Oliver says "hey, I want one of these hats too!"

Kate in her red dress

The babies' new activity table - eventually it will move outside and be filled with water and sand, but for now works great with Evan's toy cars

John and Evan checking out Evan's new game (Lego Batman for Playstation 3!)

Oliver adored his Uncle Chris and played chase with him for two days

Me and Oliver watching the action

It wouldn't be Christmas without at least one picture of Pops asleep on the couch!

A beautiful day in Austin today - 65 degrees and sunny. We let the babies loose in the back yard to run through the leaves.

Rare Threesome

Here is a rare shot of all three of the little ones together. They are never still long enough for me to get a good picture of them anymore. Kate and Willa have discovered that they can climb onto the coffee table with no help now. The other day I found Willa standing on top of the table with her hands raised to the sky, victorious!

Yesterday I took Oliver back to the doctor to get the shots that he couldn't get at his well check because he was sick. Poor little guy got five shots (!) - three vaccinations, a regular flu shot, and a swine flu shot. The doctor was excited to see that he has gained almost a full pound in the three weeks since our last visit (he's now at 19 pounds 8 ounces), but he is still not back on the charts yet. So, the doc ordered some blood work for him - we want to make sure he doesn't have celiac like his big brother.

Getting the blood drawn was not a good experience - they took it from his arm, and the first try didn't work, so they had to switch arms. They had to shut the doors to the waiting room because he was screaming so loud! That's seven needle pricks in one day!! He got a lot of TLC for the rest of the day, and I must say that, despite the shots, it sure was nice to spend some one-on-one time with him.

(The adorable hat he is wearing was knitted by our good friend in Virginia - he loves it! Thank you, Leigh Ann!)

Kate trying her first apple ...

Are you sure I'm supposed to eat this?

Hmmm... not bad ...

All right, I'll go for it

Uh oh, here comes Willa

Lots of screaming ensued ... Kate carried that thing around for two hours, while Willa followed her, trying to get her mouth on it!
