Another cute one of Kate

I couldn't resist snapping this shot of Kate in her diaper - this one we'll have to show to all of her boyfriends.

We are gearing up for a weekend of sickness here.  Evan started it with a little coughing and sniffing last week.  Now John has a bad cold, and Willa seems to be catching it too.  We're taking bets on how long it takes the rest of us to catch it.

Rolling around

The babies are trying really hard to roll over these days.

Kate is the master. She can easily roll in either direction, and does it all the time.

Willa just figured it out, and is best at rolling from her belly to her back.

Oliver isn't quite there yet, but is getting closer. He can roll from side to side, but doesn't quite go all the way over.

Threesome

Finally, a decent picture of all three of them together!

Six Month Update

The babies turned six months old on Saturday! We had their well visit with the doctor today, and here are their new stats:

Kate - a whopping 18 pounds, and 27 inches in length - 90th percentile in both categories!

Willa - 15 pounds, and 25.5 inches long - 25th percentile in weight, and 50th in length

Oliver - 14 pounds, 12 ounces and 25 inches long - 10th percentile in weight and 5th in length

Kate and Willa are doing great with their motor skills, but Oliver needs to start working. He is our lazy boy and doesn't want to move around or sit up. We call him our little lump.

We had two vaccinations, a Synergis (RSV) shot, and a flu shot for each baby and it was not a fun experience! I think John and I will need a bottle of wine tonight!

Miss Willa

It is so hard to capture one of Willa's smiles on camera. I tried and tried the other day, and although I didn't quite succeed, I did get some pretty cute diaper pictures of her.

Wanna go for a ride?

Kate has gotten so big now that she no longer fits in her Bumpo seat - her legs get stuck! So, we finally pulled out the exersaucer and this adorable bouncy car, which she loves.

She is rolling over all the time now, and tries really hard to crawl, but she hasn't figured out how to use her arms yet, so she ends up with her butt in the air and her face planted in the ground (usually followed by a lot of screaming!).

New Years Eve

Here are some very cute pictures of Evan from the First Night Austin parade on New Year's Eve.
